Justin Bieber Wins Webby Award

The pop star Justin Bieber won first prize on Tuesday, Webby, the leading award for Internet content.

The comedian and star of the movie "The Hangover" Zach Galifianakis was the most popular thanks to its award-winning web series "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. Funny or Die site, founded by comedians Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, received eight awards.

The Webby given two trophies, the Webby Award, chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and the trophy People's Voice, which is chosen by the public.

Bieber received the People's Voice for the funny video "Justin Bieber Takes Over Funny or Die. "



Among the many winners of the day was also the former star of the sitcom "Friends" Lisa Kudrow and her series "Web Therapy, "the application for the iPhone Angry Birds and the site of the New York Times.
The interviews show host Conan O'Brien, rapper Snoop Dogg, Jim Carrey, Twitter, Skype and Hulu were among other winners in a contest that includes everything from sites, interactive advertising, media, movies and applications for mobile devices.

The winners of the 15th annual version of the Webby receive their awards on June 3 at a ceremony to be held in New York.

Organizers said this year received about 10,000 votes in the U.S. and worldwide.
